Cecil’s soft, melodically smooth music easily wins fans over with a soothing aura that is heavily craved. Cecil plays his rhymes & words perfectly in harmony with equally satisfying beats that slide fans into the electric love groove. Cecil’s promise is strongly enforced by his multiple depths and dimensions as a talented poet, lyricist & performing artist. Electric Love Vol. 1’s impact opens fans real wide on contact, and never releases its tight grasp on their mind, body, and soul. Music fans not only hear, but feel, and relate whether at the club, or lounging at their crib with their honey.”
Love is the topic that is mostly touched upon during Electric Love Vol. 1, whether you love God, Females, or Hip Hop, this album has it in store. The music is not overly electric in sound that it will drown out fans, so don’t be mistaken. There is a E-vibe in the music, but it only enhances the real raw hip hop, urban flavor. Breath taking, picture perfect electronic sounds intertwine with the beats to ad dynamic creativity within the large majority of the songs featured. Cecil’s vocals are equally as delightful and creative. Dropping science that fans can relate to on real subject mater, Cecil delivers well versed, finely put together rhymes. Cecil does an exceptional job delivering his words to the fans. Finely tuned articulation, flow, and intensity drive fans into a frenzy for more music, and Electric Love Vol. 1 continues to deliver. Each song, although similar in characteristics, is uniquely sensational & seasoned.

The most appreciated song featured on the album is Electric Love, which is re-enforced by the album title. The beat is incredibly raw, and intense. Cecil’s microphone dynamics, passion, and creativity bring this track to the top status. A destine fan favorite, and rotation heavy weight. The album’s songs are hot through-out, from beginning to end; however, after Electric Love, comes a tremendously hot track entitled Open Mic featuring Rob Scott which is a pure knockout, falling into the second most appreciated spot on the album. The music continues to drive strong with Teddy Bear which has a beat that fans crave to loop endlessly. Cecil’s vocals blend with the beat in harmony. Strong ending, and closing tracks, no filler material, meaning no skip-worthy chit chat, pure music for fans to enjoy, make Electric Love Vol. 1 a hot release to cop.

The Production featured on this album is incredible, thanks to the talents of Ron Gaineous. Recorded by Jim Matus at Paranoise Studio in Hartford CT, the whole team contributes perfectly to the release. Jim Matus provides exceptional bass, and guitar vibes, and Cecil being multi talented, also provides perfect piano and drum vibes in addition to his strong lyrical contribution. Kerel Cooper is in charge of marketing the album for any interested parties, radio stations, fans, stores, and distributors. The cameo appearances by Rob Scott, Dunbar, and Olusala Allison positively contribute to the album’s wide success.

Critics will suggest the album could be longer, although 43 minutes and 42 seconds is enough to please the majority of fans. Some critics might also critique the packaging of the album with arguments that the cover could be more eye catchy. These are minor critiques, the most important factor is the quality of the music delivered, and hands down, Cecil, and Serenitia Entertainment deliver large.

Fans are missing out if they sleep on this release. Exceptional vocal, beat, and production elements drive this album to the top. Fans will not be disappointed in this release, Electric Love Vol. 1 is a must listen.
