Canibus is one of the most talented artists in the industry; in fact, some would argue he is the best. Well known for witty punchlines, dynamic wordplay, fierce lyrics, abrasive nature, raw intensity, and exceptional delivery Canibus is a sure bet. “Hip Hop for Sale” is a solid album that will appease any craving for entertaining, fresh, and hot hip hop music. The most appreciated tracks featured on “Hip Hop for Sale” include “Show Em How”, “Dear Academy”, “Hip Hop Body Rock”, and “Punch Lines” feat. Hamza. The leader of the pack is “Dear Academy”. Backed by a strong, deeply flavored beat, and witty, well laid lyrics this song is sure to be a fan favorite held in heavy rotation. “Dear Academy” also features a story line which adds to the entertainment, and provides a cinematic feel. Most of the tracks featured on this eleven track (11) buffet seam to be reflective in nature, holding a message fans need to hear. No one conveys a message better than Canibus as proven in the music. There are no lackluster tracks featured, every track is worth listening attention.

The album artwork is well put together, although the images of Canibus are a little blingy in nature. The production is always on point featuring production by Nottz. The album is well polished, and features some of the most abrasive beats that pack pure heat, complementary of the fierce, relentlessly raw lyrics.

Canibus does not disappoint with “Hip Hop for Sale”. This album is a keystone release to stack in any fans collection. This album is mandatory listening, and should be spinning in heavy listening rotation.
