nbsp; Marlon Malbrough Chemiztry (The Dope Beat Maker) aka OMP (The Orange Mound Player) was born and raised in the neighborhood of Orange Mound Memphis Tennessee; one of the rougher neighborhoods of Memphis nbsp; He began his musical career at the age of 13 playing drums for Sherwood Jr High Schoolnbsp; Later he attended Melrose High School where he was a member of the dance group #8220;The Golden Boys#8221;nbsp; During these years he DJed at various clubs amp; house parties nbsp; Marlon graduated from High School in 1987 joined the Air Force and relocated to Phoenix Arizona where he joined the group #8220;T-Bone and The Elements#8221; the group began to rap sing and dance at nightclubs concerts and partiesnbsp; In 1992 he was relocated to Georgia and went solo in releasing his own musicnbsp; His first cassette single titled OMP - #8220;Gotta Make That Flow#8221; and distributed it himself in some smaller towns of GA in 1994nbsp; It was very successful nbsp; After being honorably discharged from the Air Force in June of 97 Marlon released his debut album titled OMP - #8220;Playaz Talez#8221; nbsp; Since 1994 OMP has completed over eight albums and produced for several other local artists including Playa Fly MVP Skinny Pimp amp; DJ Zirknbsp; His skills are unmatched with a style of his own enabling him to produce some of the fattest tracks ever to come out of the south nbsp; His second single OMP - #8220;Why A Playa Hata Hata Playa#8221; was released to the world on July 1997 and climbed the local charts to number 36 out of the top 100 Rap and Ramp;B Singles (chart enclosed) nbsp; OMP - #8220;Cloud 9#8221; was test marketed via the Atlantic Satellite Promo Library on July 1999 and climbed to 1067 out of the top 2500 and is still on the charts at 2179 after 1 ½ years nbsp; Chemiztrys plans for the near future are to obtain a publishing recording or production deal within#8217; the next year and collaborate with other well-known artists! nbsp; Bottom line Chemiztry is ready for the big entertainment industry As of 112000 OMP Became Chemiztry Cash Flow Records 3125 S Mendenhall Suite 310 Memphis TN 38115-2808 (901) 218-7467
